    Just got this component, reconfigured great! Having an issue with hooking up the RSS feed… settings below… swf is blank

  • Sorry, we tested wrong product just now.
    It doesn’t work properly.
    this product need the description to have img tag. So it doesn’t support your feed.
    Send us your email, we can send you another version without img tag.

  • When I change the xml files the swf stops working both locally and remotely. Can you explain how to update the xml files so that the swf displays a feed from whatever sites I want? And is this product for showing other sites’ feeds or does it allow other people to have a feed from my swf?

  • Having issue with the rss feed feature. I reconfigured everything in the settings.xml file activate it from no to yes, change the feed address to where I want “www.elggnews.com/?view=rss” and still nothing.


    Any suggestions?

  • I just bought this component. When I change the useRemoteFeed value to 'yes' in the settings.xml file, it doesn't get the remote feed. Can you please let me know what else I need to do to make sure it parses external rss feeds?
